When a lad reports for discipline, he should immediately be ordered to strip to just his underpants, EVERYTHING else off. The requirement to remove his clothes is intended to increase the humiliation aspect of the punishment. Humiliation may also be increased if the punishment is witnessed by other males, but never females, which is inappropriate. As a general rule, lads who offend together should be disciplined together. The lad should then be lectured on the subject of his behaviour. Shouting at the lad until he starts to cry and slapping his face is very effective. The lad should be required to stand with his arms by his sides, behind his back or on his head. Under no circumstances should he be allowed to stand with his hands in front of him 'covering himself up like a girl'.
It is recommended that the discipline should be administered across the bare buttocks from the start although it is acceptable to give a certain number of strokes across the lad's underpants in certain circumstances, for example where a large number of strokes are to be given or different implements are to be used..
The discipline should be administered with either the lad's underpants lowered as shown in the image or completely removed. Where underpants are removed, they may be placed in front of the lad so that he is fully aware that he has had to take them off. Lad's can also be required to wear their underpants over their heads.
